OUR LEAD PASTOR
ROBIN MCKINLEY
At age 7 Pastor Robin came to America from England with his mother and younger brother. After graduating from high school, he got involved in auctioneering and then attended the University of Valley Forge where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Bible. It was there where he met his sweetheart Cindy, and the two of them married between his junior and senior years.
Two years after graduating from college, Pastor Robin, with his wife Cindy, became children’s evangelists. They ministered to children full time for 8 years traveling to a different church each week. During that time they developed a number of children’s stories which were told with visuals and puppets. Pastor Robin recently authored two of those stories into children’s books. One is called “The Contest” and the other is called “Twas the Night of Christmas”. He has been involved with life Journaling since 2007. Out of his Journal entries he has also authored a series of devotional books called, 3 Minutes Alone with God.
In the early 1990s he became the pastor of Calvary Christian Center in Pottstown, Pa, where he is currently pastoring. Even during their time pastoring, they have continued to work with children and doing training for children’s workers. They have ministered and conducted training for children’s workers in three foreign countries as well, Jamaica, South Africa, and Romania.
Pastor Robin is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. He and his wife make their home in Birdsboro, Pa. He also serves as the president of the local ministerium. Today he and Cindy have two married sons and four grandchildren.
